Hello CUMC Senior Highers!

Hope you all had a great first week at school (and great schedules on top of it!)!

Our Kick-off will be Wednesday, September 16th at Johnson's Pool. (will update when I know the time.)

On Wednesday, September 23rd we'll tailgate at the CHS Football Field before the Powder Puff Games.

Wednesday, September 29th will be our first Youth Group at the church.

Mission Trip Reminders

Our Mission Trip to Seattle is only 3 days away!

Here are some last minute packing reminders:

• The places where we're working have dress codes: pants to the knee or lower (no shorts above the knee), t-shirts (no tank tops), and tennis shoes.
• The work we'll be doing probably won't be dirty work.
• The weather is supposed to be around 75 degrees while we're there.
• Don't forget to bring clothes appropriate for church.
• Don't forget to pack a bath towel and bedding.
• Remember that you'll be responsible for devotions one night, so please bring materials that will help you prepare.

Also, remember to bring money for souveniers, fast food stops (Wednesday lunch & dinner, Saturday lunch), snacks, etc. You are asked to buy a little souvenier(s) for your sponsors and send them a postcard. We'll buy postcards on Wednesday and send them off ASAP so they don't beat us home!

I haven't received permission slips from everyone, so please bring them on Wednesday if you still have copies. If you don't, I will have extra on Wednesday before we leave. You cannot participate if you don't have permission slips turned in.

Remember the change in time for Wednesday: Brunch at 10:45am and Prayer Send-off at 11:30am.

The Friendship Game Show!

Today, after church, we had a very fun and successful fundraiser for our mission trip! Thanks for all the hard work you all did to make it turn out great! Your commercials were fabulous and I know everyone appreciated the hard work you put into them!
